Varicose veins

Many of us want to know the solution to varicose veins without having to go to the doctor for an operation, and there are cases in which it is not necessary to do so, but the problem is fixed from home. This is a problem that, personally, interests me a lot because I have had varicose veins since I was young, therefore I took on the task of investigating the reasons why these well-known “spider veins” appear, how they can be prevented or reduced and I want to share it with you.

Varicose veins are an aesthetic problem although it is not a skin problem and a health problem that is common among all types of people. The fact that we want to hide them or make them disappear is because they usually appear in areas that can be seen with the naked eye.

What are varicose veins?

They are pathological widening of the section of the veins, and whose mechanisms to send blood back to the heart have totally or partially failed. These mechanisms that the veins have to push the blood on its way back to the heart are funnel-shaped membranes, which make it easier for the fluid to pass from one side to the other but make it difficult for it to flow in the opposite direction. When these are damaged, blood accumulates in this section of the vein, therefore that blood vessel dilates in that area. If the vein in which this problem occurs is close to the skin, it can probably be seen through the skin. It usually has a spider’s dorma and an intense red or purple color.

Now, how can we eliminate varicose veins naturally?

You must bear in mind that these home remedies do not work in cases of severe varicose veins, in this case it is essential that you go to the doctor. But if your varicose veins are not that developed, this can help you.

  1. Gently massage the area every day.
This helps the blood circulation to flow properly. Preferably use a moisturizer so that your hands glide easily and is more pleasant.

  2. Avoid wearing heels.
Even if you are a fan of wearing heels, avoid them if you have varicose vein problems. High shoes are true machines for causing inflammation in the feet and legs.

  3. Avoid salt.
No, I don’t mean to stop eating salt altogether, but rather to reduce it.

  4. Don’t expose your legs to heat for a long time.
Baths with very hot water, the use of hot water bottles in bed, or sunbathing all contribute to the problem of varicose veins.

  5. Don’t wear tight clothing.
I recommend that you wear loose clothing to avoid that the part of your body with varicose veins is constantly subjected to friction and pressure.

  6. Put your legs up at the end of the day.
Lifting your legs before sleeping helps them to rest from all the work that you have put them through during the day. This also helps blood flow properly and your veins deflate.

Remember that if your veins have severe pain or itching, it is necessary to see a doctor for an evaluation.
